After expressing disdain for Adidas copying his Yeezy Slide design just last month, Kanye West has allegedly aired further grievances towards the three stripe brand while the annual Yeezy Day event is currently ongoing.
In an alleged direct message exchange between Ye and a fan account, the rapper and designer claims he “did not approve” the Yeezy Day national sneaker holiday and is unhappy with Adidas’ reviving certain models as part of the event as well as allegedly poaching former Yeezy team members for their own designs.
The message goes on to claim he was never behind the concept of Yeezy Day, also stating that Adidas tried to halt production on a line of footwear Ye was planning to release as part of his Yeezy x Gap by Balenciaga collection he believed to be in the scope of his contract with the sportswear brand.

While the authenticity of message exchange isn't verified, the claims echo past grievances Ye has had within the confines of his partnerships with larger brands and could further fuel rumours that he could reunite with Nike in the future.
