Joe Freshgoods x New Balance “Conversations Amongst Us” Collection Release Details

Joe Freshgoods has made a name for himself in the world of kicks and his ongoing partnership with New Balance has pushed his name onto borderless grounds. From his “No Emotions Are Emotions” 992s to the “Outside Clothes” 990s, the Boston-based label has prepared a new collection creatively directed by Freshgoods.

Dubbed “Conversations Amongst Us”, the duo aim to introduce a range of 12 distinct pairs and extensive apparel options. Highlighting Black creatives, it has been crafted alongside New Balance’s Black Soles design team, made up of all-Black employees.

Following numerous teasers, two pairs from the collection have officially been unveiled. Now, Joe Freshgoods sets his touch on the infamous New Balance 550 and 2002R.

Both offerings don a cream base, accompanied by gold detailing and a yellowed appearance. Made worthy for any sneaker rotation, the shoes are destined to be instant sell-outs, as proven by the designer’s previous releases.

The apparel collection features a variety of branded tees that are sure to start a conversation. Arriving in white, cream, gold and black, the shirts don cartoon head graphics, a sketch of shoes hanging from a chair and minimalistic branding. Sweatshirts, hoodies and sweatpants are delivered in the same color palette.

The New Balance x Joe Freshgoods “Conversations Amongst Us” 550, 2002R and apparel collection is set to release on 15th April at retailers worldwide, arriving on via the New Balance website shortly after.
