jjjjound Tackles the adidas Samba in Debut Collaboration
March 27, 2024
Jjjjound has officially announced his next footwear venture, teaming up for the first time with adidas to finagle his quad-initial branding onto the brand’s uber popular Samba silhouette.

Although it has been around since the late 40’s and experienced ebbing waves of traction ever since, the great social media algorithms decided that adidas’ Samba would get an immense push last year, with CEO Bjorn Gulden claiming that “demand was outweighing supply” for minimalistic terrace models like the Samba, Gazelle and Spezial by the end of 2023.
The adidas Samba is so iconic that it would be futile to try and reinvent it, so rather than implementing a new lacing system or reworking the midsole, Jjjjound is commissioning the expert craftsmen in the Samba’s original stomping ground to pour all of their efforts into hand-crafting the highest quality Samba iteration to date.
Using premium materials and shifting production to Scheinfeld, Germany allows for the Samba to receive a greater level of care and attention to detail, which will all be magnified a step further due to the limited nature of Jjjjound collaborations.

The adidas x jjjjound Samba will be available in both black and white colourways, with each version sporting a gum sole, brown leather interior and Jjjjound branding in the classic gold foil style associated with adidas terrace models.

Priced at $250 USD, the adidas x jjjjound Samba willbe available Wednesday, March 27th at 12:00pm EST on JJJJound.com and Adidas CONFIRMED.
