Already responsible for some of the most sought-after handbags and luxury accessories available today, Hermès is now venturing into the audio game, unveiling a pair of headphones inspired by its iconic Kelly bag.
Simply titled the ”Headphones”, Hermès’ latest creation comes from its Ateliers Horizons subdivision - a collective of engineers and artists renowned for bespoke commissions that have worked on everything from boxing gloves to disco balls for Hermès’ elite clientele since the early 2000s.
This isn’t Ateliers Horizons’ first “audio rodeo” - in 2019, they put together a special Hermès jukebox (pictured anbove) and have since released speakers and even a mahogany DJ table. Just like these one-off examples of pure extravagance, the Headphones have been developed and manufactured from nose to tail at the brand’s atelier HQ in France.
Hermès’ Headphones fuse high-performance audio with unmistakable elegance, featuring sleek leather-wrapped ear cups highlighted by metallic accents reminiscent of the Kelly bag’s hardware. They support both wired and wireless usage and also include standard on/ off & “touch” functions that allow wearers to skip or pause on the go, and even feature a built-in volume wheel.

Available in natural, black, chocolate, deep red, and blue leather, the Headphones are inspired by the Kelly bag in more ways than one, as they are produced in limited quantities and boast an eye-watering price tag of $15,000 USD.
