After releasing a Harmony Korine-shot promo last week featuring the Supreme skate team living large on a plane with actress Julia Fox, the brand have now revealed a collection inspired by Korine's 1997 debut movie Gummo, releasing this week.
Expressed through a series of uneasy vignettes, the movie flew in the face of what Korine felt were "romanticised" depictions of contemporary life in the American deep South.

While divisive due to its unflinching nature and collage-style approach, the movie received critical acclaim from several established directors including Jean Luc Goddard, Bernardo Bertolucci, Werner Herzog, Gus Van Sant and more.
The Supreme collection draws on scenes and references from the film itself and features original artwork from Harmony Korine, most notably on a coaches jacket embroidered with a morbid reflection on the devastation caused by tornadoes in the South.
The collection is rounded out with a Football Top featuring a print of actress Chloe Sevigny, printed hooded Sweatshirt, two graphic tees and two skateboards.
As well as the Gummo collection, this week's drop includes season stand-outs such as the hand-crafted mirror from German company Meissen.

The 18.5" frame features deftly designed mini cherubs sporting white Supreme box logo hooded sweatshirts over a delicate floral design.
The Supreme Gummo collection will release alongside this week's drop via Supreme from Thursday 28th April, 11 a.m. EDT in the US and Saturday 30th April 11 a.m. JST in Japan.
