After successfully entering the Metaverse through a Roblox-based scavenger hunt back in April, Gucci is revitalising its partnership with Vans, returning to the real world with a quartet of new designs that perfectly suit the peak of Summer.

Working on two of Vans’ most iconic models, the Old Skool and OG Classic Slip-On have both been plastered with various miniature beads, playing on classic Vans design tropes with a starkly colourful outlook that hosts the extravagant approach of Gucci, albeit at surprisingly reasonable price-points.
The only Old Skool featured in the pack is the plainest of the bunch, using a faint diagonal checkerboard pattern on the canvas quarters and a tonal suede on the top layers, complete with a rainbow jazz stripe and soft pink foxing.
The remaining three designs take shape on the OG Classic Slip-On, using variations of a warped Vans checkerboard pattern, with two of the three adding beaded flowers around the shoe in striking reds, indigos and pinks. The only slip-on without any floral input shows a fully beaded, black and white check across the toe and heel, with a more abstract take on Vans’ pattern of choice painted on the midsole.
