Almost a year after news broke of Gap's upcoming partnership with Kanye West's YEEZY line, we could be closer to seeing the final product with a potential June release expected for the first collection.

While details of the collection haven't been confirmed, fans have compiled a selection of pieces possibly expected as part of the collection based on concepts shared by Kanye via Twitter over the past year. True to form, nature-inspired earthy tones with pops of rich blue and teal are expected to feature heavily for the line of essentials which will likely features takes on everyday basics including hoodies, sweatpants, jackets, accessories and more.
With designer Mowalola Ogunlesi revealed as Design Director for the range, we can likely expect an edgy update on the neutral colour palettes and classic styles we're used to from The Gap. Ogunlesi's designs are known for their use of colour and clashing of cultures, with graphic references from punk to sexuality and influences from her Nigerian heritage.

Kanye, who famously worked for in a Gap store as a teenager, has previously expressed that he'd love his Yeezy-branded clothing to eventually become more affordable and accessible to more consumers, so the collaboration with a brand famed for its everyday basics seems a natural fit.
