Contemporary artist and fairweather friend of popular culture Damien Hirst is confirmed to be collaborating with Louis Vuitton.

According to images and information shared by @opulent.vision, the British artist is set to put his morbid spin on some of Louis V’s luxury duffle bags and potentially more. This would mark the first collaboration from Louis Vuitton under the guise of Pharrell Williams - who debuted as Creative Director of the brand’s menswear division earlier this year.

The red and blue Keepall bags have been plied with various “pills” in an all over format. Medicine has remained a distinctive component of Hirst’s artwork since the 1980s, most notably featuring in his 2002 piece Spring Lullaby, which sold for $19.2 million USD at auction.

Currently, there is no conformation from either party as to when the collaboration will release and what else could be in store.
