After years of anticipation, Jerry Lorenzo’s Fear of God has finally revealed the first collection from its multi-year deal with adidas, debuting a basketball-focused line that looks to bridge the gap between form and function now that Yeezy is no longer present at the German sportswear giant.
The adidas products stole the headlines from an already milestone-worthy feat from Fear of God, as the brand presented its first ever ‘formal’ runway show at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles and although the popular Essentials line was nowhere to be seen, Lorenzo and his God-fearing design team presented a series of contemporary-sartorial looks that were individually encompassed by top coats of woollen and fur natures, covering boxy blouses and trousers, all of which were bestowed with muted tones and topped with luxury accessories.
The garments weren’t the only stars featured in FOG’s Collection 8 Fashion Show as Pusha-T blessed the stage with a performance, donning head-to-toe adidas x Fear of God Athletics, showing the the three striped gear in all its glory with a pair of matching sneakers on-foot.
During the show itself, most of the adidas x Fear of God Atheltics kicks were tucked away beneath baggy pants, although clearer images have since surfaced of the yet-to-be released shoes, which as expected, take baseline adidas shapes and add exaggerated semi-translucent soles, fused together with all-round chunkier constructions.

Alongside the subtle reveal of footwear, more brazen unveilings came through adidas-branded bags and gloves that appeared during the event, with a closing showcase of a minimalist black tracksuit worn by Lorenzo himself.

The adidas x Fear of God Athletics collection is likely to debut in the coming months.
