As a proud honorary UK citizen, Drake’s love for a good Nike Air Max Silhouette comes as no surprise.

The Canadian megastar has already played a hand in reviving the Drive and Flight models from Nike’s Zoom range, alongside releasing various colourways of his signature Nike Air Hot Step Terra silhouette over the past two years.

Rather than resurrecting another bygone Nike shoe, the next project to come from Drake’s Nocta office at Nike HQ has been officially revealed as the Hot Step 2.
A direct sequel to Drake’s premier Nocta shoe, the Hot Step 2 first appeared in passing when Drake kicked off his “It’s all a Blur” tour in Chicago last July and now, over 8 months later, product shots have surfaced of one out of three Hot Step 2 colourways expected to drop before the year’s end.
The first iteration to surface features a striking orange palette that almost entirely covers the moulded rubber uppers, besides shiny silver tabs placed at the heel and mid-foot portions.

Nods to classic Air Max design language include the mini swooshes, bubble logo at the tongue and Air Max 95-esque lacing system.

Rumours indicate the Drake x Nike Nocta Hot Step 2 will release later this year with a price tag close to $200 USD.
