UK firm Corteiz is back with its very own take on “Black Friday”, covering all categories of a modern wardrobe with streetwear-noir spins that interpret the retail holiday in its most literal sense.
Following on from the previous release, Corteiz has lined up an all-encompassing array of outerwear options, featuring a new puffer style in black with orange accents and a zip & button closure system.
More jacketing includes a black and white Elitework shell, plus a new delivery of the coveted varsity jacket, this time available in (you guessed it) a leather-sleeved black iteration, adorned with collegiate patches and a Minotaur mascot across the back.
Graphic tees are re-upped with designs old and new, with standouts such as the ”Times Up” tee, a military-inspired “Hardware” tee and reflective variations of the brand’s Alcatraz motif.
Familiar iconography spills onto tops and sweats - such as the Overdyed denim set stitched with contrast detailing and ’C-star’ logo at the rear.
One guaranteed sell-out is Corteiz’s take on the the mid-90’s Club América home shirt, that takes inspiration from the golden days of boxy football kits, resulting in a black top that’s adorned with commercial CRTZ branding and a white/ grey diamond pattern plastered across the chest and shoulders.
Of course, tracksuits get a much needed wheel up and various cuts of thermal tops are patterned with tonal Alcatraz branding. Finally, Corteiz proudly displays its main initial on a mohair sweater.
