For their first collaboration of 2025, Converse and Tyler, The Creator are reimagining two forgotten silhouettes from Converse’s archive through the refined perspective of Tyler’s brand, Le Fleur.

Tyler and Converse’s latest project looks to the low-profile footwear of 1970s America, specifically archetypal deck and running shoe styles that feel more relevant now than ever, especially when minimalistic footwear rules the current trend cycle in 2025.

Converse’s latest venture with Tyler even receives its own special title, the “1908 Collection”, which is not only an explicit nod to the year Converse was founded, but also speaks to the brand’s underrated heritage, while emphasising a capacity for contemporary resonance.

First is a direct reissue of Converse’s Naut-1 from 1971, a purpose-built deck shoe later adopted by the preppy college kids of East Coast America that now returns thanks to Tyler, the Creator, who outfits the model in rich, single-tone suede and canvas uppers, finished with subtle touches indicative of Le Fleur’s elevated aesthetic.

The second silhouette, dubbed the Coach Jogger, revives a 1976 track shoe originally designed for performance, now updated with era-appropriate colour-blocked palettes and classic Le Fleur branding printed on the sides.

The Converse x Le Fleur 1908 Collection releases on June 20 via Converse.com and select retailers.
