Living in the future is nothing new for Clot founder Edison Chen as his recently revealed take on the Nike Dunk High proves that he is living in the year 3000 and beyond.

Titled the “Flux Dunk”, the collaboration introduces a chrome-like reflective material to the upper as it takes inspiration from the continuous act of movement and flow. Whether in time, nature or the dimensions of everyday life, the offering is an homage to the harmonious philosophy of the Ying-Yang symbol.
The sneaker comes dressed in a wrap-around construction that reflects light and color at every angle. The Dunk High's classic leather overlays have been replaced with a smooth topstitched build while the co-branded tongue gives off the illusion of changing logos at every step. Sleek touches tie everything together as a clean white midsole accompanies the laces that pop off of the pair with pure brightness.
“The shoe, at every angle you move, gives you a different feel. The simplicity of the colorway and the subtleness give a very contemporary view of what a shoe might look like in the future,” Chen says about the release.

Launching with the shoe is a limited-edition card collection that comes in six lenticular designs that match the reflective tones of the shoe. Included in every box, two cards autographed by Chen have been secretly placed amongst the distributed deck for a pair of lucky buyers to find.
