Carhartt WIP x Awake NYC Get Bold and Bright in Latest Capsule

Carhartt and Awake NYC have just announced another co-designed capsule is on its way, cementing their joint presence over a series of wardrobe staples that push the envelope of just how many graphics you can fit on an item of clothing, all while staying true to each brands’ DNA.

Like with most Carhartt collabs, the work in progress of presenting heavy articles for any number of artistic renditions never ends and in Carhartt’s latest work with Angelo Baque’s Awake, the use of canvas coats and carpenters pants, hoodies, sweats and tees act as the perfect slates for a proper showing of NYC streetwear design.

Palettes like green and cyan are mixed with beige, black and white to create bold, contrasting combinations that could each hold weight on their own but gel together perfectly in the newly unveiled campaign.

Statement pieces come alive on the graphic-filled varsity jackets, cardigans and work trousers, which feature everything from enlarged co-branding, floral designs to collegiate slogans.
