C.P x Asics Gel Quantum VIII Release Details

C.P Company and Asics are two brands that have undoubtedly come into their own in recent years, becoming staples of the streetwear scene thanks to in-house proficiency, amongst carefully curated collaborations and to kick off 2024, the duo is releasing a double-feature pack that perfectly captures the technical essence rooted within both entities.

Taking advantage of the festivities surrounding Paris Fashion Week in January, C.P and Asics first unveiled its work through a pop-up event that previewed two contrasting versions of the modified Gel Quantum 360 VIII

The collaboration is designed to slot into C.P’s already established “Metropolis“ series that focuses on the urban appeal of Massimo Osti’s brainchild - distancing themselves from flashy Italian themes to focus on contemporary capsules that promote the concept of a C.P wearer on the move, with fabrics and ergonomics at the fore.

Coming in uniform yellow and grey/ black colour schemes, the collaborative Gel Quantum has received a minor reconstruction, evidenced via the streamlined shape and updated Gel pods that make up the midsole. C.P leaves its initials on the toe area that’s seamlessly worked into the layered mesh and rubber detailing across the entirety of the uppers.
