Classic British clothiers Burberry are entering the 64 bit world of Minecraft in a cross-sectional collab that transcends the confines of wearable fashion (by humans, at least), offering up real life and digital items, designed by the gang at good old Thomas Burberry.
Obviously, this is one of the more unexpected link-ups to occur in recent memory, but both brands are running with the continuous conversation surrounding “digital fashion”, and rather than doing NFT’s or setting up camp in the Metaverse, it’s one of the most popular sandbox games in the world that’s getting dripped out in the classic nova check.

The collaboration is built around an in-game adventure titled “Burberry: Freedom to Go Beyond”, which encourages Minecrafters to explore a unique Burberry biome, whilst dressing their character up in one of fifteen custom outfits.
While you’re AFK, a variety of IRL items are available, with Minecraft printing pixelated creeper graphics on Burberry staples like the trench coat, with hoodies and tees featuring tonal graphics, behind a complimentary Burberry typeface.

Less 'overtly Minecraft' pieces feature an embroidered flower, seen on the jogging pants, bucket hat and timeless Nova-check scarf.
