Balenciaga just showed their Ready-to-Wear Fall/Winter collection at Paris Fashion Week and in between the flowing gowns and tailoring there are several interesting streetwear-inspired activewear offerings, of the kind we've come to expect from brand creative director Demna Gvasalia.

These included full tonal leather motocross outfits and running suits but the main reference was football, with four full kits coming down the runway covered in logos and badges of the fictitious "Balenciaga Football Club" in red, navy, black and neon yellow. Demna explained to British Vogue that in his home country of Georgia, "(...) footballers and priests were what I grew up with" in terms of influences.

The Fall/Winter collection will release later this year but in the meantime, check out our top picks from the show above.
