Aimé Leon Dore has dropped three new, exclusive colourways of the 860v2 but there’s a catch…

Thanks to the great Teddy Santis, who holds positions at both brands, the ongoing link-ups between the respective East Coast powerhouses of ALD & NB have become mainstays of sneaker culture and while various collaborators assist in the domination of New Balance’s 1906r, Aimé Leon Dore is cementing its love for the 860v2 with a third, triple-feature pack centred around the silhouette.
Opposed to the accessibly luxe height achieved in ALD’s initial 860v2 release, this latest slew of sneakers leans heavily into the same vibrant palettes prevalent when the model first dropped in 2011.
The classic, athletically-appropriate combination of navy mixed with highlighter yellow and red appears alongside a green-tipped, clean white pair, where the final pack member opts for “peppermint” red offset by silver tabs and ecru & white panelling.
Each silhouette follows the same branding quota of ALD’s signature on the tongue, where the brand’s signature ‘Queens Crest’ is stamped on the heel.

Ensuring maximum buyer satisfaction, ALD is bypassing the pitfalls of modern sneaker release systems by offering a pre-order service for its latest collaboration with New Balance, ensuring that the correct quantities are produced in adherence with the number of people genuinely interested in copping a pair of the exclusive models.
