Time after time, Teddy Santis proves his exquisite taste level, whether through palatable collections from ALD, mastermindery of New Balance’s Made in USA line or in this case, his latest project with Porsche.
The Swabian automobile-extraordinaries have long pursued the mission of creating the perfect driving machine and as a company, only get better with age and wisdom, rarely branching out into the world of collaboration, aside from projects with worthy companions like adidas, Rimowa and now for the fifth time, Aimé Leon Dore.
Aimé Leon Dore and Porsche previously collaborated on the 356, 911SC, 964 and 944 models, now turning to an icon of 1990’s luxury automobilia that acts as the muse for a fleshed out ready-to-wear collection.
The starring vehicle will be on display at ALD’s London outpost from November 22nd to 23rd, where patrons can view the leather and wool interior, custom Unisphere gear stick and special edition paint job & decals in person, in all their glory.

Similar to how ALD used last year’s Porsche 994 collaboration to tease an ensuing suitcase release with Rimowa, the brand has taken advantage of its latest head-turning project to slyly reveal an exclusive pair of New Balance 993s that are slated to drop sometime in the future.
Considering the one-off Porsche will not be available for public sale, ALD is giving customers an opportunity to vicariously experience the aura of the green-tinted, gilt-applied luxury through a tasteful apparel capsule that bridges the gap between ALD’s high-end interpretation of streetwear and functional motorsport garb.
Amongst standard fare like co-branded tees, hoodies and headgear, ALD has conjured up a duo of Turbo Leather Club Jackets, available in tango red or racing green and complete with perforated panelling, striped ribbed cuffs and embroidered detailing on the front and back.
There’s also a couple of true to form racing jackets that feature an even broader collection of imitation corporate branding.
Highlights from the realm of cranium covers include cashmere beanies and wool 5-panel caps, set to drop alongside more supplemental goods like the green leather duffle bag that’s built from ethically-sourced Italian leather and lined with matching suede, with gold-toned hardware included as reference to the wider collection and key colours from both ALD and Porsche’s brand identities.
Final hits include Mechanic Shirts and Team Rugby tops, alongside the Souvenir Scarfs, Tote Bags, Driving Gloves, not forgetting the standout nylon Track Jacket and matching pants.

There’s even a trio of co-branded grille ornaments designed to decorate your desired whip.
