Aimé Leon Dore has just unveiled the second instalment of their Spring/ Summer ‘23 season, showing up and out with a magisterial core selection of goods, concluded by a concoction of understated accessories.
The shirting arm of ALD has flourished in the latest seasonal outing, through plaid, chambray and cotton-twill cuts readied in a plethora of aesthetics, switching between everyday wearability and harmonious styles that can be paired with straight-cut chinos or shorts.
Leaning into its multicultural background, Aimé Leon Dore has crossed over to Japan, to task the artisanal mills with building a set of denim that echoes the workwear origins at ALD, with the added depth of quality Japanese denim that just hits the spot.
One piece that has been at the top of everyone’s lists since its season preview teaser is the Aimé Leon Dore Knit Cycling Jersey, which releases in the latest drop in a choice of black or blue, each featuring a yarn dyed stripe with chain stitch embroidery and three handy pockets at the rear.
Elsewhere, ALD has reloaded on its Uniform offerings, this time presenting hoodies, sweatpants, tees and crewnecks in garment dyed, Canadian-made cotton - all available in interchangeable palettes of ‘indigo’, ‘laurel oak’ or ‘sienna brown’. A trio of fleece jackets are also presented in similar earthy tones.

More uniformity can also be found on the category-spanning Crest series, which sees the ALD flower bunch stitched into shirts, knitwear, tracksuits and a duo of varsity jackets.
Finally, Teddy Santis expands on the previous success of ALD-stamped leather goods with wallets, side bags and pouches, crafted from fine Spanish leather, lined with suede and available in black or brown.
