Patta seems to have recovered from their visit from Sinterklaus and is now set to sweep the streets with their Amsterdam flair, as the brand readies its Spring/ Summer ‘23 lookbook, packed with references to warmer climates with loud prints and variational pieces.
The core of the collection takes inspiration from the many backgrounds of Patta’s management, borrowing techniques such as lino printing, stencilling and crochet across the knitwear, denim and jersey options. One of the big players in streetwear, Patta always honours their roots in the game with quality staples and unique designs.
Like most streetwear brands today, knitwear has become an integral part of Patta’s seasonal rotation, materialised in their SS23 outing through a mohair striped hoodie, loose gauge sweater and baby blue polo shirt and shorts set, rivalling the classiness of Aimé Leon Dore, although with the Patta script on the chest, cut to their typical oversized liking.
Further influences can be seen on the denim, where Patta have taken inspiration from Denim Tears’ wreath series, painting their own set of mid-wash jeans with playful graphics, such as the sun, lion and tree of life, finished with a Pan-African filled Patta script, stitched onto the back pocket.

Other, trippier graphics can be found on the tie-dye hoodie, which features a banoffie coloured swirl, with a gang of psychedelic cats on the rear.
