Following a lookbook teaser, Palace Skateboards has now revealed a more detailed guide to its Autumn ‘23 collection, denoting an expansive approach to mid-season wear that moves between Americana, vintage sportswear and straight up performance - all twisted to fit in with the new age skate aesthetic that Palace champions.
Taking clear notes from its 2018 outing with Ralph Lauren, Palace has approached the Americana vibe with little caution, tackling a ‘half and half’ plaid shirt, seen here in a red/ white and yellow/ blue mix that is modernised with an outlined Palace spellout logo stitched across the rear yoke.

Pair with some light wash denim for the ultimate “born in the USA” look.
Changing gears, Palace’s latest Fall delivery is a reinstatement of the brand’s commitment to sportswear and through the piped hoodies, collegiate bomber jackets and effusive chain-print mesh combinations, Palace has once again nailed sports-chic.

In terms of real-world euphemisms, this time we’ve got a homage to Inter Milan’s badge, appearing on headwear, tracksuits and football kits.
As an extension of its love for active inspired gear, Palace has called upon the expertise of Champion to devise a series of in-store exclusive items that will be available at respective Palace locations around the globe. The London, New York, L.A and Tokyo outposts are each blessed with their own hoodie and tee that bears a home-court wordmark across the front.
Although more partnerships will be revealed as the season progresses, Palace has confirmed the revisitation of its always appreciated work with Avirex.

Avirex is a gem of late 90’s and early 2000’s style that influences Palace’s wider approach to design and when the two join forces, weighty, graphic-heavy garments are inevitable. Juxtaposed with a soft colour scheme, the bold crests and branding stands out across a quilted leather jacket, fleece tracksuits, gloves and hats.
Flagship collaborations aside, the recurring Gore-Tex and Pertex fixed outerwear arrives once again with sealed zippers, branded detailing and mini Tri Ferg logos. The waterproofing continues onto the lower half, with pieces including matching weatherproof cargo trousers.
The preview also reveals an upcoming collaboration with fellow UK heritage brand Baracuta, showcasing a modern reinvention of the classic Trench coat and G9 Harrington styles, dressed in vibrant hues and finished with subtle Palace branding at the sleeves.
It wouldn’t be a streetwear collection without a healthy lineup of graphic tees and as usual, Palace isn’t skimping on the cultural references. The Spice Girls appear on a y2k themed design, where cult British graffiti artist 10foot has tagged a paddy wagon in light of his collab, alongside a new lineup of Tri-Ferg designs and a zoot-toting bulldog.
The graphics don’t stop there - as Palace has also readied a selection of coach jackets that don a bloody reference to Freddie Kreuger's bladed-hand from cult slasher flick A Nightmare on Elm Street.
Final standouts include amalgamated leopard-snake print shirts, a Cuban collar that features a middle-finger flipping motorcyclist and a classy, lace zip-up shirt with a cursive Palace script at the back.
Also fitting the description of a “statement piece”, Palace nods to various landmarks with a printed denim set, showing its cultural diversity with depictions of Japanese architecture, the Taj Mahal, Buckingham Palace and more.
A standard assortment of Palace esoterica includes rolling papers, available in Slim or King Slim, a “P” monogrammed notebook, a selection of Hydro Flask canteens, a wild-print chair manufactured by Helinox and a debossed strawberry signet ring.
