adidas and BAPE are back with a fresh collaboration just in time for the start of the 2025/ 26 football season, presenting a performance-driven capsule fronted by a recognised legend of the beautiful game.

Rather than contributing to streetwear’s overabundance of performative football attire, the latest project from the Euro-Japanese wizards behind fan-favourite camo-or-STA-hijacked three-stripe designs instead takes a purposeful approach, covering everything one needs to deliver come match day.

BAPE’s inaugural adidas football collection is modelled by none other than Marcelo Viera, known to Real Madrid and Brazil fans simply as “Marcelo” — a legend revered for redefining how the left-back position is viewed at a world-class level. A technical dribbler with exceptional vision, Marcelo perfectly embodies BAPE and adidas’ energy-filled take on “a soccer collection bursting with streetwear attitude”.

The brands present full kits comprised of jerseys, shorts, socks, and compression tights, alongside matching Predator and F50 Elite football boots, rendered in all-over ABC camo prints, available in a choice of classic green or gradient versions featuring shades of blue, red, and pink.

Shifting seamlessly from pitch to street, BAPE also adds influence on the adidas Samba — a natural fit for the collaboration given its roots as an indoor football staple of the Three Stripes family. BAPE modifies the silhouette with shooting STA motifs on alternating inner and outer sides of each shoe, paired with a moulded “SKULL STA” rubber toecap replacing the usual leather material. Extra collaborative details include custom insoles and laces, alongside special edition tongue tags and gold foil branding.

For the football-focused portion, an ABC camo football bag acts as the ideal storage option for the complimentary kits, while BAPE expands the lifestyle offering by throwing Baby Milo into the mix on a simple graphic tee and collectible shoulder bag modelled after the brand’s fictional monkey mascot.

The Adidas x BAPE soccer collection drops Saturday, September 6, available in limited quantities via select retailers and both brands’ websites.
