ROA Hiking’s exclusive list of collaborators just grew by one, as the luxe-technical brand takes the short flight from Northern Italy to sunny old London town, to once again open the books for the streetwear-focused Aries to step through with two new renditions of the Andreas hiking boot.

ROA’s Andreas model is undoubtedly the brand’s most popular styles and outside of sporadic collaborations with the likes of A Cold Wall, jjjjound and now Aries, has been a mainstay of the Italian bootmasters since they flooded the gorp scene in 2015.
The tried and tested silhouette is blessed with a dichotomy of designs - with the first leaning more into ROA’s own brutalist aesthetic via a black paint job, exposed factory tongue tag and ultra tough leather uppers which have been graciously plied from the African native Kudu - all supported by a lug-heavy Vibram outsole.

Final touches include a stitched bit of co-branding, reflective strip surrounding the toe box and bright purple laces.
The second design contains all the trimmings of its release-mate, although making a glaring shift from all black to zebra print hair-on-hide uppers (again constructed from Kudu leather) and green boot laces.

The first ROA x Aries collaboration is available now on Aries’ website. Each pair is priced at $625 USD.
